Ras Gharib is located on the Western shore of the Gulf of Suez. It is a tanker loading facility operated by the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation. Ras Gharib is a natural harbour providing anchorage in depths of 9 meters. Three piers constitutes the loading of crude oil.
